Camera to cloud for video

Every take, in the edit before you wrap

Your camera sends each clip from its own FTP menu, and your iPhone sends from the camera roll. We deliver a checked copy to the editor’s Google Drive, your Mac, the studio NAS, or all three, minutes after you cut.

From cut to timeline.

No card reader, no upload at the hotel. The camera already knows how to send a file; we make sure it lands where the edit happens.

  1. 01

    Cut

Stop recording. Depending on the body, the clip goes out on its own, or you send it from playback.

  2. 02

    Send

A proxy leaves over venue Wi-Fi, a phone hotspot, or Ethernet while you set up the next take.

  3. 03

    Land

We check the file, then deliver a copy to each place the job needs. Each destination returns its own receipt.

Proxies now. Originals later.

Most crews send small proxies during the shoot and the camera originals once they have bandwidth. Both land in the same folders.

During the shootProxies, minutes after cut.

  1. Small H.264 or XAVC proxies, a few hundred megabytes an hour.
  2. Fit on venue Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot.
  3. The editor starts the assembly while you are still rolling.

After the shootOriginals, when you have bandwidth.

  1. Send camera originals from the card over Ethernet or fast Wi-Fi.
  2. They go to the same folders as the proxies, so relinking is simple.
  3. The archive copy is checked against the original.

Bodies that send clips include the Sony FX6, Canon C70, Canon R5 C and Nikon Z 9. Menu paths come from each manufacturer’s manual; hardware testing is still to come.

Shot it on your iPhone? It lands on your Mac.

Pick clips from the camera roll and send them into a flow. The Mac app writes them to the folder you chose, at home or at the office, along with any other destination in the flow.

Checked files go to an internal folder, an external SSD, or a mounted volume. Interrupted transfers resume; you never see a half-written file.

Questions.

Is this a live stream?
No. Cameras send finished files. Most send a clip after recording stops or from playback; some Sony cinema bodies can send proxy chunks during a take. Nothing here replaces a live video feed.
Do I need extra hardware?
Not if the body has an FTP menu: the camera connects over Wi-Fi, a phone hotspot, or Ethernet. Some cinema cameras need the maker’s network accessory. Each camera tutorial says which.
Can I send originals?
Yes, when the camera offers it. Originals are large, so most crews send proxies during the shoot and originals afterwards.
How does iPhone video reach my Mac?
Pair the iPhone app, choose clips, and send them into a flow that delivers to the Mac app. It works when the phone and the Mac are miles apart. On the same desk, AirDrop or a cable is faster.
